[music |Emm Gryner- Summerlong]

My Tegan and my Sara, in your DVD player.  TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, I was at this show, it was recorded last April in Toronto @ the Phoniex.
So I might be a movie star right now and not know it because I only got about 1/2 way thru the concert.  It's a longshot, I was way in the back.

[music |Paramore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!]

Oh, I also bought my first rap album this year.  I hate that music with a passion, I used to beleive the only good thing about rap is that song where Eminem samples Dido.

Hell, froze over earlier this year, I bought the Fort Minor cd.  This guy is on to something playing with a full orchestra.  Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park)

And this chick is good, trust me:

One more clue, her last name starts with a B.  And she plays the piano.

It's Holly Brook

And the singer of my band is a girl.  And the sky is blue and the grass in green and my new guitar is chrome blue.

I Can Feel The Pressure [Aug. 5th, 2006|11:20 pm]
[mood | energetic]
[music |Paramore- All We Know, Goo Goo Dolls-Without You Here]

What a summer.  I'm starting my first band.  Went to about 15 awesome shows in the past 2 months.  I only work 20 hours a week.  I never want it to end.

It will.  On Aug. 28.  Thats when school starts.

I don't like Emo, I love their tone and emotion, but I HATE what they do with it.   However, their is one exception.  They are one of my favorite bands.

I LOVE Paramore.  2nd show here this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   One way or the other, everything comes down to my girls.....

[music |Goo Goo Dolls- Let Love In cd]

I think I'm in love....... With Lindsay Lohan. Did anyone see her on Letterman yesterday.
All he asked her about was 'is there a special guy in your life right now?... and she kept blushing and then he asked her old she was. 'I'm going to be 20 on July 2.'

JULY 2 is MY Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, thats right, Chris, Michelle and Lindsay were all born on the same day.

I think I crashed my DVR last night, I just kept watching it over, over & over.....
Her talking is exactly like her singing voice.

I dreamed about her all last night.
I'm hopeless.

Her initials, L.L.
My initials , C.C

we are meant to be!

Summer....... [Apr. 28th, 2006|02:43 pm]
[mood | bouncy]
[music |Emm Gryner- Symphonic, Bon Jovi- Bells of Freedom]

So what is everyone going to do this summer?  I'm going to spend a little time with my girls:

Kelly Clarkson - July 10  (cost me $90.....TM is such a f****** rip off) and
Ashlee Simpson - July 18

And I'm going to re-learn to play piano.  To take a quote from one of the greatest movies of all time, 'American Beauty'

"Everything thats meant to happen, does happen................................eventually".  Well, yesterday was one of those days.

I bought the Yamaha DGX 305.  Heres a photo of my new baby:

I havent named her yet, I'm kind of leaning towards Chantal or Sarah.

And I wish this girl was my baby:

2 clues:  she is in the movie 'Undiscovered'.  and she can sing 500 times better than her sister!

Oh yeah, I went to a show yesterday.  3 bands, 3 girl singers.

Bif Naked, Britt Black & The Vincent Black Shadow.

Have I ever mentioned that I love girl singers?

My girls are going to ROCK my f****** world this summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really to get a region free DVD player.  Or move to France.  Or both!!

Lyrics for "Ma revolution"
{Refrain:}

Je me suis battue
En ton nom j'ai crié
Sur les toits ma venue
Ma raison d'exister
Je t'aurais voulu
Depuis tellement d'années
Que le temps vienne
Je serais tienne

{Au Refrain}

La nuit mon amour
Je te rêve à côté
A côté de moi
Pour au moins l'éternité
Que ta vie me parcourt
Mais je rêve éveillée
Je suis aux anges
A toi mon ange

{Au Refrain}

Avec toi
Ma vie rêvée
Toi pour m'accompagner
J'ai tout changé
Tout renversé
Et me fait tout un monde
Que j'imagine parfait
T'es ma révolution

{Au Refrain, x2}

La Grande Sophie [Jan. 4th, 2006|01:59 pm]
[mood |awake]
[music |Carla Bruni - Quelqu'un M'a Dit (Somebody Told Me)]

Sophie ROCKS!!!!!!

Sarah Slean is moving to Paris : ( [Dec. 20th, 2005|07:56 pm]
[mood | bouncy]

So, what do I have left to live for now that I've seen Sarah play with a string Quartet.

I WANT TO SEE MY SARAH PLAY WITH A FULL ORCHESTRA NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW, last Friday was breathtaking, no words are strong enough, so I'm not even to try.
So the setlist was very similar. She didn't play Mary. She did play Vertigo (w/ the singer from pilot), Duncan, Day One, John the 23rd, Magdalene Laundries (Joni Mitchel cover with Ron Sexsmith), Count Me Out, Last Years War. She also played the Peanuts song for a bit while they were fixing the viola. The show was much more entertaining and funny. Let me see if I can formulate a hap-hazard setlist (Could very well be in the wrong order):

Lucky Me
Eliot
I Know
High
Bank Accounts
Magdalene Laundries
Last Year's War
Out In the Park ("A song about joy")
Pilgrim (Because she was puking earlier and it reminded her of this song)
Day One (Screwed up, stopped and said "oh we're recording this!" and continued)
Count Me Out
Vertigo
Pie Jesu
John the 23rd
When Another Midnight ("One of the more prickly of my compositions)
ENCORE
Duncan (For the sweet girl who yelled it earlier)
Sweet Ones
Narcolepsy Weed
Playing Cards With Judas

She mentioned the live cd may come out in the spring and that she will be back next year with new songs.

I think Sarah liked her Chritmas Card:
